Looks promising… I might screw up some from Christmas.
Also changed the order so the colors line up a little better… Pretty…
Interesting to see that the cost of my core trips (Xmas, T-Giving, BM, and Edisto) has been steadily declining since 2011. Vietnam is what made 2015 more expensive than 2014. And the New York trip + Joshua Tree made 2013 more expensive than 2012.
– need to add as % of take home pay.
This data is still a bit disorganized (i.e. I haven’t accounted for all the costs associated w/ these trips, like food, BM supplies, etc.), but it’s interesting to see how my travel spending lines up with my overall financial life. As expected, the irresponsible year of 2011 shows itself w/ travel spending.
16% looks bad. And it is. But compared to 2012 and 2011, it’s awesome, because I had negative savings for those years.
$304! Not bad. The flights are a little long and they’re on Wednesdays, but oh well.
$612 in the bank. Over the weekend, I bought a bunch of discounted XBox 360 games:
GTA IV – $5
Undead Collection (Red Dead Redemption) – $5
LA Noire + Season Pass – $8
The Orange Box – $5
Max Payne 3 + DLC – $9
Borderlands – $5
Assassin’s Creed II – $5
Castle Crasher – $5
Batman Arkham Asylum – $5
Batman Arkham City – $5
Total = $57
So I should still be fine until the next paycheck. I still need to purchase a flight for Christmas though… and find a cat sitter. UGH. And still very tempted by the Star Wars PS4 bundle.
